Year 11 has a strong focus on coursework and students follow a strict plan to ensure that all aspects of the specification are met. Below is a brief outline of each section and dates for completion.

These must be detailed and contain a 3D drawing. |

Compare your designs with the casing specification and select one as being the most appropriate choice and state why. |
Allow for the fixing of the board in the case. Make sure that you have an On/Off switch. |

Research the Materials required for your case, and the processes required to make it. |

Produce working drawings of the parts to your design – Orthographic Projections. Request materials and begin making. |
Any parts to be cut out using the laser cutter, must be drawn using 2D Design. |

Pro Desktop or Techsoft 2D Designs. Photograph the tools and processes you use during the making of your casing |
Remember allow at least 3 weeks for the painting of your project if you are using MDF or wood. |
